Elizabeth Jane Bruce

After studying art, Jane Bruce exhibited her landscapes and etchings from 1987. Her interest in gardening led her to the Chelsea Physic Garden where she graduated from The English Gardening School in Botanical Illustration. She received the RHS Gold Medal award for Berberis Canadensis in the group exhibit of the Chelsea Physic Garden's Philip Miller's plants in January 1999. She now lives and works in West Sussex.

She has regularly exhibited botanical work since 1999 in various galleries including:
• Ebury Galleries, Ebury Street, London
• Hortus Gallery, Chelsea Green, London
• Ursus Gallery, Madison Avenue, New York, USA
• The Hunt Institue, Carnegie Mellon University,
Pittsberg, USA.

The Highgrove Florilegium – which is being created under the umbrella of the Prince of Wales' Charitable Foundation and will celebrate and record in a permanent way the Flora in the garden of Highgrove.
